About LOLA
Supporting Domestic Violence Services in Tribal Communities
Linens of Love Association is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting domestic violence victims, both male and female, by providing them with bedding and other essential necessities. Our nonprofit focuses on supporting domestic violence programs with Tribes in Oklahoma. LOLA was organized by Valerie Devol (Val) and her team. Val is a prominent Indian law attorney and native Oklahoman of Cherokee descent. Through their many years working with Tribes, Tribal entities, shelters, and domestic violence survivors, Val and her team have witnessed the effects of domestic violence in Indian country on both survivors and their families. This violence is a modern result of the generational trauma that native people continue to experience.
LOLA seeks to support those on the front lines of assisting survivors in Indian country. Our goal is to help meet both shelters’ and survivors’ need for sheets, towels, and other linens by providing them free of charge. In this small way, LOLA hopes to enable domestic violence programs and service providers to use their limited resources for other critically necessary items.

Our Love Runs Deep
Our Organization's Goals
Survivors often arrive at shelters with little to nothing.
Clean linens are not just practical, they are symbolic of a fresh start. But for shelters, sourcing enough bedding and towels can be a constant challenge.
That’s where we come in.
-
In our first year, we aim to provide 25% of the linen needs for our partnered shelters
-
By 2026, our goal is to increase support to 50% of their linen requirements
-
Ultimately, we are working toward providing 100% of these essentials—so shelters can focus fully on healing lives
Why It Matters
Your support of LOLA doesn’t just provide sheets and towels, it empowers the organizations doing the hardest work. It strengthens shelters, eases staff workloads, and enhances the dignity and experience of every survivor they serve, leading to a quicker transition from the shelter and an overall higher success rate in recovery.
Together, we make their mission more sustainable.
