Linens of Love Association Supports Domestic Violence Services in Oklahoma Indian Country

Linens of Love Association (“LOLA”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in an effort to support those who provide services to survivors of domestic violence in Oklahoma Indian Country. LOLA supplies essential items—primarily sheets and towels—to domestic violence shelters serving Native communities.


Recently, board members Valerie Devol and Joan Green took to the road, visiting five domestic violence service offices throughout the region. Each stop included the delivery of gift bags filled with linens and informational materials about the organization's mission and future goals.


Currently, LOLA focuses on providing sheet sets and towels—a need that most shelters consistently have. The organization plans to expand its services to include hygiene items and baby supplies to better meet the complex needs of the families seeking assistance.


To support this expansion and improve distribution planning, LOLA is actively gathering data from shelters about their needs. Knowing how many sheet sets…
